Dr. Alexia Lindell is a licensed acupuncturist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. She is board certified as a Diplomat of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Lexi graduated with a Master’s degree from the New England School of Acupuncture at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She earned a Master’s in Acupuncture with a focus on both Chinese and Japanese styles. She’s also a certified yoga instructor with experience as a breath-work facilitator and mindfulness coach.
Lexi has trained in the subjects of Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory, Japanese Acupuncture, Orthopedic Sports Medicine, and Applied Channel Theory. In addition to Traditional Chinese Medicine training, Lexi pursued specialty clinical internships and rewarding hospital placements with a wide variety of patient populations including the Chronic Pain Clinic within the VA hospital in Bedford MA, the Integrative Pediatric Pain Unit at Boston Medical Center, Orthopedic sports medicine rotations, and Japanese acupuncture rotations.
With all of this knowledge, training and experience, Lexi is able to approach each patient’s individual needs with an integrative, unique perspective to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes. Patients working with Lexi can expect to leave each appointment with simple self-care techniques that will help maintain progress in between acupuncture treatments.
